Working Girl Wears: Help!

Now is that time of year in New York where one day it's 66 degrees and sunny and the next it's 38 degrees and raining. In addition to putting my sinuses through a roller coaster ride it's making getting dressed incredibly difficult.

If I have to wear tights one more time I might hurt someone but I'm too lazy to pull my summer clothes from out of closet and from under my bed. I need a little early spring wardrobe inspiration. I'm hoping you can help me.

Send me your favorite early spring outfit ideas. Pictures of you in them or something from Polyvore. Let me know if it's okay to post them next week.

I never get bored at tights, but spring clothes worn by the casts in The City made me wanna squirm. :)

You can build your own outfit.

I love it.

Ooh, ooh, ooh! I did a post on layering for transitional spring weather on my blog that may be of help--click here. Otherwise the only advice I can give you is to check the weather report in the mornings before you venture out. :-)

Oh, how I'd wish to send you a photo of me wearing Spring clothes. We have the same problem here with the weather. One day it's cold, the next it's hot. The reason why I won't is that I am from another country and different stores and different clothing rules at the office. Good luck!

I know, I'm in Connecticut and we're in the time where the weather goes from one extreme to another so planning clothes can be difficult!! Leggings and a longer shirt are always good or with a sweater and if it's warm enough you won't need a jacket.

Well, I'm not in NYC, but I am in LA and if you've heard, we have had some crazy weather out here. Aside from starting to treat your legs with some Vaseline Body Glow lotion or some other gentle self tanning body lotion, I would ease into Spring by pairing your wool skirts with fitted T's so as to not look sloppy but yet not sweltering either. You can accessorize with chunky necklaces or scarfs and bracelets to also dress it up and make it more work appropriate. Footware also sets the tone of the outfit so pick something with that won't overpower the wool structured-ness of the skirt but will dress up your delicious cotton T.
